Mothers Day Cards for someone Like-A-Mom
Maybe your biological mom was not a very large presence in your life, or maybe she passed when you were younger, or maybe your best friend's mom just happened to be a second mom to you even though your own mom was awesome as well. Is it wrong to send them a Mothers Day card too? Of course not! Mother's Day cards for a person like a mom are an excellent way to let your other "moms" know how much that they mean to you and how you are celebrating them and their impact on your life just as much as your own mother's. If this is your first Mother's Day card to your second (or third) "mom" then be sure to explain a little of why and how you feel that they have been a mother to you in your life. A funny story or experience with them or a simple note about how they were always there when you needed them would be the perfect message to include in your Mothers Day card. Though the entire idea of sending a Mother’s Day card to someone who isn't actually your mother may seem strange, you can rest assured that it will mean the world to the wonderful "mom" to whom you send it.
